Camp Combe Master Plan Main Lodge
The Main Lodge at a camp is on of the most important buildings. Its the place where you eat, have activities, hide from rain, and just sit around and talk. So the main challenge in designing the Lodge was adaptability. By creating a partly open floor plan, the building is able to change and adapt to any use it is needed for. For the style of the Main Lodge, I went with a modern adirondack style. Trying to keep the feeling of being in the woods but having modern amenities, like large window sets, helps tie the building into the surroundings nearby
