HEALTH FAIR The Tara Woods Health Fair at the Clubhouse was a rousing success. Residents could obtain information about everything from their head to their toes and parts in between. Hilda Dienes, Dave Lindon and Barbara Werner-Lubich did a wonderful job of organizing the event and making sure that as much information as possible was available to the residents of Tara Woods regarding their health and well-being. Approximately 34 participants made themselves available from 8:00 AM until noon on Tuesday, January
14th, to answer questions and provide helpful information. Those participants were extremely knowledgeable and fielded questions regarding their area of expertise. Attendees collected pamphlets, business cards and trinkets that were offered at each table in bags conveniently provided at the entrance to the fair. Many residents took advantage of the opportunity to garner info that may significantly impact their health now or in the future.
Much appreciation is extended to Frankie Lindon and all of the volunteers she organized who lent a hand before, during and after the health fair. Working together they helped to bring about a very successful morning. A hearty thank you goes out to those who donated blood at the Blood Mobile in the north parking lot of the Clubhouse.
