They’re a chance to step out, meet new people, strengthen existing bonds, and experience the positive impact that comes from being an active part of our community. We often hear how our classes become places where laughter is shared, new perspectives are gained, and a true sense of belonging flourishes.

On November 4, 2025, Alexandria Public Schools voters will consider a single referendum question for a capital projects levy. If approved, the levy would generate $3 million annually over the next 10 years to fund:
• Safety + Security Improvements
• Technology, and
• Facility Upgrades
After months of input, budget review, and discussion, the Alexandria School Board unanimously voted to place this referendum question on the Nov. 4 ballot. The proposed plan aims to meet the immediate and long-term needs of students and the school community, including safety improvements, technology upgrades, and facility maintenance needs.
If approved, the tax impact will be less than $10 per month on a $350,000 average valued home in the school district.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on November 4, 2025. Early voting begins September 19, 2025.
Visit mnvotes.org or call 320-762-2141 ext. 4213 if you have questions about how or where to vote.
