MOBILE PROJECT In class we contemplated balance in the physical world to create hanging mobiles. This was achieved by first reviewing some algebra then constructing the mobile using different materials and attaching different levels by making loops in the wires.

STUDY 3D MODEL This mini-project was designed to help students think creatively about spaces and break out of the “box building” without any restrictions.

RETREAT DESIGN PROJECT

For the retreat project we discussed spatial justice and how we could implement it in our own neighborhoods.

For my project I designed an afterschool and community center because I felt those resources were lacking in my neighborhood.

Additionally we drew site plans, visualizing our space from a bird’s eye view perspective. You can see the greenery that brings the space to life, which is also something we don’t interact enough with living in the city.

APARTMENT REDESIGN In this project we were tasked with redesigning floor plans and furnishing them using our own creativity. We were given clients and some guidelines to follow.

ULLAGAMI MINI-PPROJECT Ulligami is similar to origami in the sense that you fold paper, but it also includes cutting. This project was interesting and not something that I’ve ever done before!

ARCHITECT STUDY/ SKETCHES The architect study was an assignment to study different architects of different backgrounds and styles of work to learn about projects they’ve worked on as well as refining our sketching skills.

Daniel Libeskind is a PolishAmerican architect known for unconventionally geometric designs, whom we took inspiration from to build houses on Sketchup.

PEN DRAWINGS

These are pen drawings that I started doing a while ago. I do it all by hand o a dotted sketchbook and it usually takes me a couple of hours to complete a page. I find it soothing and pretty therapeutic.

ACRYLIC PAINTINGS

DIGITAL ART I also make digital artwork on Procreate on my iPad where I sketch and draw. I started by following tutorials on YouTube and eventually being able to make original art.
