When analyzing the functions of the existing Winter Park Village, we realized that the space was predominantly occupied by unused parking lots and the community adjacent to the square was isolated from the square. We asked ourselves how could the existing architecture be enhanced with new features to become an engaging agent that entertains the community around it?

Cuban culture has always been known for its electric vibrancy and energetic passion. Afterall, this is how Tampa was built. Cubans city in search for independence, safety, and prosperity. But today, the Cuban population in Tampa has decreased to 20% after population in the city
Now, elements of the Cuban culture that made the city once so energetic and electric seem to be gone. I imagined a new a Tampa, could be celebrated at any time of the day, knowledge could be empowered, and a place where you could gaze at the stars possibilities that Tampa could bring you.



This is exactly what 900 N Ashley drive was missing. I saw a place where the opportunity of a new Tampa could be born. A site sense of arts, but little embrace for culture and energy. With little attractions, walkability, and places to gather to embrace
