This project consists of an interior renovation and external improvements for a residential building lobby in Forest Hills, New York. The space required improvements in the building accessibility, security, storage and circulation flow.
The proposed new layout included new exterior and interior ramps, reconfiguration of the existing mail room and waiting areas. A new reception desk was also part of the scope of work.
In this project I had the opportunity to be part of presentation meetings with clients and site visits during construction.

Balade Your Way is a contemporary counter-served eatery for Mediterranean cosine located in New York City. One of the requests for this project was that design a new franchise for a new location maintaining the visual identity of the other restaurants.
The aim of the design was to adapt a modern Mediterranean characteristics in the space, including colors, textures and design elements edited to a contemporary aspect.
This project contains many custom designs, such as: tables, cashier counters, standers, product displays, ceiling elements, light fixtures, etc. And to highlight one special feature is the custom Arch along the restaurant. The arch is a special item, characteristic of their brand and it was implemented in the project with a modern aspect.

This project consists in an expansion into an adjacent space and complete interior renovation of a two-story department store in a downtown area of the city of Curitiba, in Brazil.
The two-story department store housed different departments, such as: men and women’s section, kid’s area, shoes and accessories section. Creating a better organization of the flow between the different departments was also part of this project. The new project featured a concrete made spiral staircase to access a mezzanine level and a two-story facade showcase as main project scope.
A specific challenge faced on this project was the clients request to remain the full operation of the business during the renovation. An intricate schedule was developed by the office to orchestrate the construction phases, minimizing the inconvenience of current construction to clients and supporting the company’s profits. Academic Research
The intention of this project was to create a complete spa and wellness club in the city of Curitiba, Brazil. This building aims to provide the visitors a place that provides health and wellness without leaving the urban area and without requiring major changes in people’s routine. Such flexibility is possible due to the location of the building and services provided, improving the client’s life quality of life.
The Urban Spa is a social wellness club and was designed with a modern layout. The building was designed to be made out of concrete which provides the possibility of larger space between columns and an open floor plan to easily distribute all of the amenities. The landscape is part of the project, the nature interaction throughout the building was intentionally planned to be part of the costumer experience. The building consists of 4 floors above main entrance and 2 floor underneath it, which contains space for all the available treatments, services, administration and a complete restaurant.

Single-Family House / Long Island - NY
This project is a single-family house, located on the north shore of Long Island, NY. The project is composed of 3,980 sq.ft. of construction and contains 5 Bedrooms, 6 Bathrooms, Gourmet Kitchen, Wet Bar, Library, and Game Room among other accommodations.
In addition the project also contains a monumental curved staircase by the lobby composed with a cathedral ceiling for a impact entrance.
The existing conditions of the terrain were a very steep and uneven surface. One of the biggest challenge for this project was to accommodate the house on the best level, providing an easy access from the street and allowing accessibility from inside the house to the exterior areas. The result was many elevated patios, various external staircases and ramps for access.

Single-Family House
Single family house located on the north shore of Long Island, NY. This house was located in front of a state park where it allows a water view from a higher level. One of the client’s specific requests was to have a roof top where they could host friends and enjoy the sunset looking at the bay.
The result to attend their request was to provide two different vertical access. One a main stair case combined with an elevator to attend the principal of the house and an additional stair case serves the guests. The guest staircase is a separated tower on the side of the house with a spiral staircase that connects the a ball room on the cellar level leading to the first and second d floor where the terrace is located. This allows the access to the terrace without going through private spaces.

Single family house located on Long Island, NY. This house was result of a completely demolition of an existing dwelling at this location. The new owners decided to demolish the existing house and have a completely new building that would attend their needs expectations.
The design consists in a classic architecture to follow the neighborhood aesthetics and to reflect the clients preference. An grand entrance was a result of the double height entrance and large windows were specified for a maximum natural light inside the space.
An maximum area of constructions was provided to cover the scope of work. The main floor an open plan between kitchen, Den and Living Room while keeping the Dining Room separate for a more formal space. The second floor should contain four suites. The basement will be for family entertainment purposes, laundry and utility room.
