This is A young illustrator and designer from the Philippines!

Ever since she was three years old, she knew that art was her biggest passion, specifically illustration and design. She is an AB Multimedia Arts graduate from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde and for the past two years has been a Creative Designer Associate for Altenew, LLC (a U.S. stamp and paper crafts company). Aside from this, Isa has worked on freelance commissions such as logo designs, a book, illustrations, etc.; if people were to describe her style, they would say whimsical and full of detail! Isa hopes to create meaningful art that can inspire others creatively.

Altenew - Products Illustration, Product Design, Typography These several products are designed for Altenew, a U.S. paper crafting company that produces high-quality clear photopolymer stamps, stencils, dies, papers, hot foils, inks, 3D embossing folders, etc.

These product items range in Altenew's various categories such as "floral, sentiments, geometric, etc." For example, the 2x3 mini stamp sets contained whimsical floral designs for customers to use in their card sets.

The 3D embossing folders contain geometric and floral elements to create an excellent background for an art project; 6x8 stamp sets have thoughtful sentiments using unique typography and line art. Finally, stand-alone die sets and coordinating die sets cut out the border of the shape of its coordinating stamp set. These sets were designed and illustrated in Adobe Illustrator.

Altenew Craft Your Life Project Kit: Seasonal Blooms Illustration, Product Design

Seasonal Blooms is Altenew’s first-ever Craft Your Life Project Kit, a monthly package for crafters worldwide to help them get creative! The set comes with a 6x8 floral stamp set, nine coordinating dies, one simple coloring stencils containing three stencils, and a 6x6 3D embossing folder to tie it all together. The background showcases some overlapping sunflowers, daisies, and tulips that can brighten any crafter’s card. These sets were illustrated and created using Adobe Illustrator and Procreate.

Altenew’s 6x8 stamp sets range from Foral, Floral Layering, Sentiment, Nature, Geometric, and other stamp designs. The stamps are transparent polymer materials for customers to use for their card samples or art projects. These are some of the 6x8 stamp sets I designed and illustrated: Greatest Blessings, a sentiment stamp set. Illusion Diamonds, a geometric stamp set that is perfect for repeating patterns, and Tall Tale, a transparent polymer stamp with a cool bookmark die.

You can stamp these adorable elements on the surface of the die!

Altenew - 4x6 Stamp Sets Illustration, Product Design, Typography

Altenew’s 4x6 stamp sets are the second biggest stamp sets that the company produces. I created these 4x6 stamp sets in Adobe Illustrator: Paint-A-Flower: Poppy was the very first PAF ever to be created and became a best-seller in the company. Bold You is a fantastic 4x6 stamp set filled with an excellent main sentiment and positive sentiments to pair with it. Inside and Out: Thanks stamp set is another sentiment-themed stamp set for pairing with floral, geometric, or nature stamp designs. Here for You is a floral 4x6 stamp set that can serve as a lovely centerpiece for your card, and the All Things A is a hand-drawn letter A that is fantastic for monogram cards!

Altenew - 2x3 Mini Stamp Sets Illustration, Product Design, Typography

Altenew’s 2x3 mini stamp sets get released as promo stamps that can accompany some of Altenew’s more extensive stamp sets, die sets, etc. Therefore, I created some of the 2x3 stamp sets for the monthly releases and their respective themes.

Presented here are the Exotic Garden Mini Stamp sets, the Folktale & Stories Mini Stamp sets, the Whimsical Wonder Mini Stamp sets, and the Storybook Fantasy Mini Stamp sets. These illustrations were created on Adobe Illustrator and paired with a few sentiment stamps.

Altenew - 3D Embossing Folders Illustration, Product Design

Altenew’s 3D Embossing Folders are fantastic tools for creating embossed textures for card samples, papers, and more!

These are some of the 3D embossing folders I made a while back for Altenew. 3D Embossing Folders have a range of categories, such as Botanical, Geometric, One-of-a-kind, and Faux Letterpress 3D Embossing Folders. The Cross Weaves 3D Embossing Folder provides an illusion of cross-woven lines interweaving. My love for Zentangle patterns mainly inspires the Zentangle Patterns 3D Embossing Folder, and the Loving Birds 3D Embossing Folder was inspired by the use of whimsical floral elements and folktale art. The original outline drawings I’ve created are usually sent to production for these to produce into 3D embossing folders.

Altenew - Stand-Alone Die Sets Illustration, Product Design, Typography

Altenew’s die sets are fantastic for cutting out stamp images or even stand-alone images! These are some of the stand-alone die sets that I created through Adobe Illustrator. The outline drawings become manufactured into metal plates that can cut out the exact pattern or design illustrated. Typography, nature, and sentiments inspire these designs, and they are one-of-a-kind designs for crafters to utilize for their scrapbooking or cardmaking. The You Matter die sets a main “you” that cuts the outline and inner parts of the word and can be paired with the other complimentary sentiment dies. The Mix and Match Frames is a fabulous die that can cut out multiple frame borders for crafting, the Essential Sentiment Strips are fabulous stand-alone dies that can be perfect for sentiment inspired artworks, and the Dainty Leaves die set fantastic for creating beautiful foliage paper cut-outs to add to your card sample.

Want to be inspired while coloring pages? Get lost in wonder in the Whimsical Bunch Coloring Book! This book contains 12 beautiful and whimsical designs that include large and small spaces for customers to freely color and fills in. In some of the designs, there are inspirational words and quotes for customers to keep. This book was the very first coloring book I have ever created! You can use these designs to turn them into lovely cards! (*Card samples and images on the right were created and taken by the Altenew design team.)

The trial week involved editing photos, editing the text and banners to match the background, etc. These were some of the promo banners I edited for the graphic design trial week. I created these social media as part of an internship assignment for one of YBM’s clients, HELP Pilipinas. The goal was to develop collaterals based on the client’s art direction, color scheme, and preferred use of iconography.

I utilized overlays, gradients, a play in typography, and textures in the following social media posts.

Through The Dots: The Adventures of Aldo & the Creatures Children’s Book, Coloring, Product Design

A Multimedia Arts thesis project that reintroduces Philippine mythologies and culture to visually impaired children ages 8 to 12 through a Braille children's book. My thesis partner, Tara Javier and I created this thesis in nine months.

"The Adventures of Aldo & the Creatures" was born from conceptualizing, drafting, illustrating, coloring, and then producing, "The Adventures of Aldo & the Creatures" was born.

Through The Dots: The Adventures of Aldo & the Creatures Branding, Product Design A Multimedia Arts thesis project that reintroduces Philippine mythologies and culture to visually impaired children ages 8 to 12 through a Braille children's book. The proponents created stories and inserted Braille and tactile imagery. I made these mockups with my thesis partner to promote the book prototype further through packaging, stickers, washi tape, tote bags, notebooks, etc.

Design Pickle - I’m A Rockstar (Design Test) Illustration, Graphic Design, Typography

As instructed by the take-home test, these three artworks were supposed to showcase the designer's skills in illustrating or creating different graphics. The three posters above represent the following prompts: a realistic drawing of a famous rockstar, an isometric illustration of a stage or festival, and custom typography showcasing the words, "I am a ROCKSTAR." I was inspired by the legendary rock band Queen's lead singer, Freddie Mercury. I created these graphics to suit one another as cohesively as possible as posters, t-shirts, and iPhone mockups.
