Graziers gather to celebrate their best in Clermont Champion stock, inspirational chats about resilience and the celebration of agricultural's best in Isaac was the true flavour at the Clermont Saleyards.

Hundreds of people gathered at the Hoch and Wilkinson 5th annual Clermont Beef Expo and Trade Display to see the finest cattle on show. An impressive yarding of 1010 head of prime and store cattle were presented given the dry season. The Finger Family from Hillview Station took home the Grand Champion Exhibition and the Champion Pen of Prime for the second year in a row. Isaac Regional Council Mayor, who attended the event, praised organisers and all winners of the exhibitions on a job well done. “Council was proud to support the Clermont Beef Expo and Trade Display,” Mayor Baker said. “Agriculture plays a vital part in Isaac’s economy and I was thrilled to be at the expo and celebrate this industry’s achievements. “Graziers in Isaac contribute an amazing $438.5 million from cattle. “The finest of cattle were on show and trade displays this year were also a great highlight.
"I would like to congratulate the event organisers and all the award winners including the Finger family from Hillview who won the Champion Pen of Prime Cattle." The Sally Taylor memorial trophy for Champion Beast of the Expo went to Reklaw Cattle Co with a Droughtmaster Cross Steer that weighed 547kgs which made 281c/kg to make $1538.

The Grass fed Jap Bullock Class was won by Frankfield Pastoral Co “Frankfield” Clermont with a pen of Simmental Cross Bullocks which made 267c/kg to weigh 640kgs to return $1710. Isaac... helping to energise the world
