Age: 33 From: Morristown, Minn. Status: Rookie Riding: Ski-Doo Renegade XRS Bio: I continue to make poor choices by investing my savings into racing dirt track in the summer, riding sleds (not snowmachines) in the mountains, and flying my plane; I have yet to see a return on my investments. If you see me lacking on the racecourse, play “Dragula,” by Rob Zombie as loud as you can to amp me up. Other Racing Experience: I’ve won some races but lost a lot more. Eight-time Sled Storm champion on PlayStation. Status: Rookie Riding: Polaris Indy Cross Country Bio: I currently race snowmobiles in the Pro Women’s and Sport Factory 600 classes for the COR Powersports cross country series (previously USXC). I also road race vintage cars with my dad in the summer. I love action sports and adrenaline! One could say I’m a professional fun-haver. Other hobbies include off-roading, surfing, snowboarding, volleyball, working out, modeling and graphic design. Age: 46 From: Kiana Status: Rookie Riding: Arctic Cat 600 R XC Bio: I was born and raised in Northwest Alaska. I live in Noorvik (my wife’s hometown), 23 miles down the river from Kiana. I’m a former Red Dog Miner, after 24 years working at a man camp, I finally get to be home every night with my family. I enjoy recreational activities year-round on the Kobuk River. Age: 28 From: Wasilla Status: Rookie Riding: Polaris Cross Country Bio: Tom was born in Anchorage and grew up playing comp hockey. He began riding and racing sleds after high school, which quickly became his new focus. Now, as foreman for Quality Asphalt Paving, he works mostly in the summer and not as much in the winter, which allows him plenty of time to ride. This is going to be his first Iron Dog, and he couldn’t be more excited.
