WHO WE ARE Iron & Pine are a modular construction company based in Galloway, South West Scotland, creating inspiring and imaginative spaces for people to work, relax and live.

We proudly craft modular buildings that are functional, elegant and of exceptional quality. We’re passionate about helping create careers and opportunities for people in rural economies ensuring they continue to thrive.

We produce stunning, luxury, modular buildings architecturally designed to inspire. Crafted from the highest quality materials and using modern production techniques to create all year-round comfort with minimal environmental impact. Low running costs achieved through smart innovation ensures you’ll achieve industry leading return on investment.

CORE RANGE THE COORIE It is amazing how spacious our smallest accommodation model feels given its compact footprint. Floor to ceiling windows and 3m feature doors flood the stunning space with natural light.

Our clever team of designers have created a very practical space and a well equipped and stunning kitchen/ dining area with a designer shower room which will wow guests.

THE GRANDE

The ultimate 5-star hotel suite set in a stunning location is how we describe the Classic. Double aspect floor to ceiling windows frame any view. The open plan space provides a sumptuous couples retreat with ample space to enjoy an amazing time together.

The largest and most popular of our designs, the Grande offers unparalleled space and luxury for larger groups. With two double / twin rooms with stunning ensuites and a spacious, contemporary kitchen, dining and living area it really does have the wow factor.

CORE RANGE THE CLASSIC Z With the same overall footprint as the Classic the Classic Z provides a separate bedroom area and a cosier feel to the living area with all the class of the original. The feature picture window creates magical views whatever the setting.

THE CLASSIC S

The Classic Z’s big brother and with the same footprint as the Grande, the Grande Z design offers two double bedrooms, a designer shower room and a great open plan living area with well equipped kitchen for larger groups to enjoy.

The Classic S is another great space for couples and friends to get away from it all and relax in a cool luxury space with everything they need. A separate bedroom with French doors to a deck bring the outside in.

OTHER AWESOME THINGS Although most of our customers choose from our core range of products we also offer a bespoke service to make the wildest of dreams become a reality. Working with our architects and production teams you’d be amazed at what can be created.

It’s worth noting that this process does add considerable time and upfront expense to a project but if that’s not an issue for you we’re all ears.

Garden Rooms – need more space to relax, work, gym, play? Make it happen in an instant with our ready to use garden buildings, installed and good to go in a day.

GOOD TO KNOW Our research shows that ever increasing numbers of guests would rather stay in a luxury, comfortable place with the “wow factor”. The high occupancy rates and reviews our customers receive from guests show we’re getting it right.

Because of the inherent strength of our units they can be supported by ground screws in a couple of key locations instead of casting a full concrete pad foundation saving time, money and your carbon credentials.

We use a closed cell spray foam insulation (won’t bore you with the detail on that but it’s seriously insulative stuff!) so energy consumption is greatly reduced and we’re able to create a comfortable living environment all year round.

Iron & Pine buildings can be installed “offgrid” utilising solar panels and batteries.

Most of our core products are classed as caravans which can improve chances of being able to achieve a planning approval can improve the likelihood of a successful planning application.

We have an expert team of planners, architects and project managers who can help make your dream project a reality with a non-nonsense common sense and commercially aware approach.

MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT We created Iron & Pine with the aim of making a positive impact on the rural area in SW Scotland where we grew up as school friends and we are on track to do that by creating career opportunities for a quickly growing number of great local people.

More than this Iron & Pine has the core aim of creating a net positive impact on the world we’re all living in. At the heart of what we do is creating sustainable places that bring people joy whilst at the same time being based around a recycled steel frame and incorporating renewable and clean technologies to absolutely minimise the impact on the environment over the life of the building. We’re working to integrate more clean energy into our production process, reduce waste and ensuring we’re creating a great working environment for our team.
