Bring your li le ones to Crooked Creek Park Thursday mornings for open gym me. The park will provide balls, equipment, and space for kids to play. Parents must supervise their children at all mes. Children are free with $5 adult admission. Open gym me is off ered during the school year and is not off ered on school holidays.

Sailing 101 – Learn to Sail
Learn the basics of rigging, boat handling, sailing fundamentals, points of sail, seamanship (knots, weather, etc.), sportsmanship, and water safety. Instruc on is done either in club-owned, singlesailor Op mists, or in Club 420 sailboats which are operated by two sailors working together. Boat ownership is not required.

Sailing 102 – Racing and Cruising
This op on is for sailors who have completed a 101/beginner course. Learn introductory racing concepts like racing rules, starting sequences, and simple racecourses, and introductory cruising concepts like des na on sailing and basic naviga on. Sailors will operate either an Op mist or Club 420 sailboat. Upon comple on, sailors interested in compe on may consider joining the Junior Race Team. Boat ownership is not required.

Junior Race Team – CSC’s Travel Race Team
The Junior Race Team competes in the Junior Grand Prix of the South Atlan c Yacht Racing Associa on (SAYRA), as well as other events hosted by sailing and yach ng clubs in our region. Sailors who have par cipated in 101 and 102 programs are eligible to join. Junior Race Team prac ces in Op mist, Open Skiff , Club 420, Laser 4.7, and Laser Radial sailboats. Boat ownership is not required for Op mist, Club 420, or Open Skiff sailboats. Addi onal boat transporta on fees, coaching fees, and Rega a registra on fees apply.
