Our females have been consistently successful in the show ring. Having been West Region Championships Overall Champions in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Hillswood females are bred to win and breed winners.
This year I have decided to take my entire flush team to this sale thus including a flock reduction.
All ewes have been successfully flushed and will be in-lamb at sale time. Scanning on sale day. I will be offering 1ewe lamb for sale in this sale from 1 of the sale ewes.

The Chessy flock is one of the 15 foundation flocks of the breed (Est 1976). Much success has been achieved over the years including 4 All Ireland Champions in 7 years ('09, '10, '11, and '16), 6 Premier Sale Champions, 7 Reserve Champions, 3 Female Champions, 2 Reserve Female Champions, Champion Flock twice, Reserve Champion 4 times and West Club Champion 5 years in succession. This year has been another great year winning the Champion at the Western Premier Sale in Roscommon selling for 2650gns, topping the sale in Athenry at 1460gns and coming 1st and 2nd at Sheep '25 with two exceptional daughters of Annakisha Hugh.
HEALTH STATUS: The Chessy flock is scapie monitored, all ewes ae on the Heptavac P system and have been vaccinated with enzovax toxovax.

The Lisnagree Flock was established in 2010. Since then Lisnagree Texels have consistently entered In Lamb hoggets to the Clubs Annual Sale. A ram sold to the Farmers Journal Farm has been one of their Top Performers- Named Lisnagree Face Book.

The Racepark flock was established in 1989. Since then we have always strived to breed top quality sheep using the best genetics available both Irish and UK. Down through the years sheep we bred both retained and sold on have won numerous sale and show championships. We believe that the quality and the bloodlines of the ewe lambs we offer in tonight's sale have the potential to breed the future stars of the breed. Their vaccination program (covexin 10) and fluke and worm control are all up to date.

The Carheens Flock was established in 2023 with the purchase of ewes and embryos from the Enniscrone and Kenny’s flocks, forming the foundation of our breeding programme. We were delighted to get off to a promising start in 2025, winning 1st Prize in the Novice Ram Lamb Class at the Western Region Championships.
This year we are pleased to offer a group of in-lamb hoggets, all in lamb to our new stock ram, Frenchbrook Inbetweener. Each ewe has been dosed, mineral drenched, and is on the Heptavac P programme.

The Recess flock was established in 2003 & the Connemara flock joined forces in 2020. Over the years both flocks have had many great achievements. Supreme overall Champion in Blessington 2018 has topped it so far, as well as several Reserve Champion males at both local & national shows. The latest being Reserve Champion male at Adamstown Irish Nationals 2025 with Connemara Incredible, later selling for 6K.
Our top prices include 12K Irish Rover in Blessington ‘25.
All our sheep are on the Covaxin10 programme & always dosed up to date.
Stonepark flock (BSF)

Stonepark Texels was founded in 2015. Ewes were purchased from some top Irish & UK flocks.We’ve had much success over the years with the highlight being Stonepark Ferrari. Sold in Blessington Premier Sale in 2022 to Hillcrest & Sleadrin texel flocks in Donegal , he sired the Premier Sale champion the following year and went on to be sire of the year after his impressive progeny claimed top prices in all sales throughout the year. Fast forward to 2025 , Stonepark Invincible topped the west region premier sale in Roscommon at 3k setting a new record price for the sale. Our pen of 5 averaging over €1500 which showed the high standard across our 2025 crop of lambs.
We are offering 3 ewe lambs for sale on Friday December 6th. These are all embryo daughters from our top flush ewes and some are full siblings to our top priced ram lambs this year.
All lambs are vaccinated with Tribovax 10 and received their booster in Sept 25.

Brideswell Texels, based in the village of Brideswell in South Roscommon, was established in 2020. Since then the flock has had major success at Shows & Sales including Champion Novice Ewe Lamb at National Championships 2024. Our senior stock ram and sire to most of our entries, Greenhill Fionn MacCumhaill, was purchased at the Premier Show and Sale in Blessington 2022 for €5,000. Since then he has consistently bred extremely top progeny. He sired the Champion Ewe Lamb at the Western Female Sale 2023. Two of Greenhill Fionn MacCumhaill’s daughters topped the in-lamb shearling section at last year’s West Region Female Show & Sale in Roscommon. Ram lambs sired by Fionn Mac Cumhaill have performed extremely well in shows and sales including Reserve Champion and sale topper West Club Sale in Athenry 2024; Reserve Champion at Athenry Open Sale 2024; Champion Lamb and Sale Topper in Ballinasloe 2023 & Sale Topper Ballinasloe Sale 2024.

He is a powerful double 5 Star Ram by the €13,000 Clara Fandango who was the Premier Show & Sale Champion 2022 in Blessington.
