Join the Plan Assets - Our Terms and Conditions of Use

By using our suite of assets, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions of use. You must be a client of Irish Life Corporate Business to be permitted to use these assets and you must only use them in accordance with the guidelines we have outlined in this Toolkit. The assets may be used in print and digital marketing materials, provided they follow the guidelines outlined here.

This is a digital toolkit. Throughout this guide wherever you see the download symbol, you can easily access the content (from videos to social assets and other resources) and use it to engage with your employees. Simply download the files and you’re ready to go.

Helping your employees harness the power of their pension

We know you’re committed to offering your employees the best possible benefits. Providing a company pension plan with Irish Life is a great way to demonstrate that commitment.

We also know that helping your employees to understand and maximise their pension benefit can be a challenge. In fact, 45% of Irish employees say the reason they don’t have a pension plan is because they just never got around to organising it*.

What a shame, right?

We’ve created a series of helpful videos, live webinar events, a content hub, emails and social content to explain pension basics, highlight the income tax benefits, and build awareness of the great online tools available to help your employees take control of their financial future.

In this short video series, your employees are invited to join Alan Kinsella from our Pension Education Team to imagine what their ‘no-regrets retirement’ looks like, as he guides them through the whys and hows of accessing the power in their pension.

Alan explains the essentials of having a pension and how to maximise the perks. He covers key topics like employer contributions, income tax relief, additional voluntary contributions, and highlights where to go for more information.

Inspire your employees with email

Email marketing can be a great way to engage your people. Here we have crafted some template emails you can share with your employees to highlight the great pension benefit that’s available to them and to promote the Live Webinars. You can also share some of the engaging video content.

We’ve provided sample copy for you to use alongside some graphics and images for visual impact. Email 1 and 2 are designed to encourage people to join the plan and watch the videos. Email 3 and 4 are about promoting the Live Webinars –an announcement email and a reminder.

How to use this content

Download the email copy and graphics for use in your employee communications. You can use the videos from page 6 and 7, by downloading them from Vimeo or simply linking to them on the Irish Life Vimeo library.

We recommend you send one email and one or two social posts per week to your internal team, phasing the campaign over a number of weeks.

We’ve drafted a series of social posts you can use to accompany video 1 and 2 when you post about this on your internal social media channels like Slack, Workplace, etc.

There’s also a series of social posts you can use to promote the next Live Webinar event to your internal teams.

Each social post comes with either an animated or static graphic that’s been sized to suit most social channels. Simply download the files and post the visuals alongside the copy.

We have a full programme of live webinar events planned throughout the year for your employees, which are supported by video and other on-demand content.

Members can join live online sessions with our helpful pension experts to learn more about pensions and ask any burning questions they might have during the Q&A.

We also have dedicated Join the Plan webinars to encourage non members to take that first step and join the plan.

How can you promote the Join the Plan webinars?

We’ve provided posters and sample intranet copy on page 11, as well as social

copy and visuals on page 9 to help you make your team aware of the upcoming live events and encourage them to register. You can download the ready-to-go assets quickly and easily to assist with promoting these employee-focussed events.

There are two types of A4 posters available, one with a call to action for employees to join the plan and another for promoting the live webinar. There are editable sections within the poster artwork so you can tailor dates, event links and contact details as required.

We’ve supplied some brief draft copy you can use on your intranet. Use it to build a page - or even a section of a page - to host the videos and provide links to useful resources for your employees.
