The Irish Georgian Society is a membership organisation whose purpose is to promote awareness and the protection of Ireland's architectural heritage and decorative arts. These aims are achieved through the activities of its membership and through its conservation and education programmes. Our Review is published annually and distributed among our 2,400 members globally, in Ireland, the UK and USA. The Review contains interesting and stimulating up-to-date content on conservation, current affairs and heritage issues The 2017 edition of IGS Review includes articles on 'The Georgians - the Great Irish Urbanists' (Simon Wall), 'Restrained Elegance' (Alec Cobbe), the Irish Parliamentary Bookbindings, the restoration of the Garden Pavilion at Beaulieu House, Co. Louth, 'Exploring Buildings and places in North West Ulster' - a report on the cross-border 'Conservation without Frontiers' summer school, organised in co-operation with Ulster Architectural Heritage Society.
