THEATRE ARTS Storytelling Level I: Beginners Instructor: Brad Lawrence Mondays, 7pm – 9pm $145 general / $115 members Begins July 6

Two-time Moth GrandSLAM winner Brad Lawrence will help you learn how to structure and tell a true story from personal experience, what separates a story from an anecdote or joke, and what elements make for a compelling and relatable narrative that absorbs any listener—be it a date, a potential employer, or an audience of a thousand.

Storytelling Level II: Intermediate Instructor: Brad Lawrence Wednesdays, 7pm – 9pm $150 general / $120 members Begins July 8

A class for graduated level I students who want to develop specific stories or storytelling-related projects. Whether you’d like to hone in on that one special narrative, weave several stories of the same theme into a one-person show, create and perfect an engaging presentation or speech, or simply dig deeper into the art of storytelling, level II will offer the instruction and support you’ll need.
