Supported Living

Through our range of Supported SupportedLiving Living options across South West England we support adults with a wide range of needs which include learning disabilities, Autism, mental health issues, physical disabilities, Acquired Brain Injury, sensory loss, and age-related needs. We provide a range of accommodation options, delivered though our partner Housing Associations, including small shared houses and individual flats. We offer a care pathway supporting people to move on from our hospitals and residential services to our Supported Living services within the Iris Care Group, as well as supporting individuals to move from other community services. Residential and Nursing services

Nursing

Ocean Community Services Services provides specialist residential services around South Wales and Bristol. We provide step-down and rehabilitation within a clinical care pathway, supporting people with mental health needs, autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and Acquired Brain Injury, including those with a forensic history. Our nursing service, Pirton Pirton Grange Grange, specialises in supporting people over the age of 18 with Huntington’s Disease & Acquired Brain Injury in a safe and supportive home environment with access to round-the-clock clinical care and support. The service has a total of 38 beds across small gender-specific wards.

Iris Care Group operates three specialist Mental Health hospitals in Wales Heatherwood Court Heatherwood Court is a specialist mental health hospital offering assessment, treatment and rehabilitation through a low secure and locked ward care pathway. St Peter's Hospital Hospital offers person-centred assessment, treatment and care for individuals with degenerative neuropsychiatric conditions and Acquired Brain Injury. Pinetree Pinetree Court Court offers treatment and rehabilitation for individuals with Learning Disabilities, behaviours that challenge, and/or mental illness within a safe and secure therapeutic environment

SEN Education (Beechwood College)

Beechwood College College offers inspirational education for young people on the autism spectrum and other associated conditions. At the college we deliver individual programmes of study for both residential and day students that are based around a clear assessment of each student’s primary needs. Our vision and philosophy is based upon the principles of TEACCH, PECS and Makaton. We provide 24-hour, 7 days-a-week care and support for every residential student in every aspect of their daily lives. Beechwood College has its own highly skilled team of clinicians working in close partnership with the residential and education teams to meet the health needs of each student.
