[Train Staition Design] City of Detroit
There is a major disconnection between the New Center Area, Midtown and Down Town Detroit. Redeveloping or reorganizing that area along Woodward Ave. by creating a Green Belt that will run along Woodward Ave. connect existing Parks and proposing new public/green areas. The Green Belt area will also propose a new residential/commercial spaces and reuse of existing post industrial building along Woodward Ave. Proposing a transit system on Woodward Ave. and a train station that will redevelop the corner of Woodward Ave. and Baltimore. A new Transit Hub will make that first step on making a connection between both sides of existing train tracks and set a land mark of where that Green Belt will begin and develop in the future.
