Experience
For Wenny Xu

Dear Wenny,
Be prepared to go on an exciting journey of discovery, experience, and most importantly, music! Take a sketchbook and pencil, earbuds, comfortable shoes, and a small container to start unpacking the three locations in NYC! Make sure to start fresh in the morning feeling great and ready for the day!
Before that, find or create three playlists:

1. Songs that remind you of your friends!
2. Slow pace.
3. Songs you walk to.

Location 1 The Past
The building is a synagogue built in 1887, during a period of mass immigration to the United States.

At this location, simply take a moment to recall past memories that came to mind.
You can listen to home and friends

Museum at Eldridge Street

The 1920s to the 1980s was a period of decline for the place until the 1990s restoration project started to save this building.
Although the cultural background of the museum isn’t connected to yours, you may discover some interesting stories related to the immigrant community that once used the building as a sanctuary. recall that
Also, there is a stained-glass window by artist Kiki Smith and architect Deborah Gans, which has stars on it and is a symbol of the place’s revitalization. You mentioned your favorite memory was the last time you went stargazing with your friends. This is a place that is a symbol for the stars since there are no convenient places to see the stars in NYC. songs that remind you of your friends while looking inside the museum.

Location 2
The Present

This is a small community garden that has vegetables, trees and flowers growing inside. Also the location for annual tulip festivals (Unfortunately not in this season). There are small events held from time to time and sometimes music is played. If you are lucky, you might get the chance to experience that!
You like to collect and press flowers, so this location is a great place to do so. The garden isn’t big so you likely won’t expect too many commuters, since you don’t like places with huge crowds.

Here you can take a walk in the garden, feel your feet on the grass and soil. Pay attention to the touch of flower petals and the smell of plants while listening to slower-paced songs in your playlist. Just take your time and enjoy the environment!

Location 3 The Future

A marketplace filled with all kinds of makers, a creative atmosphere and a good place to find inspiration for making artistic works. The clothes and jewelry might be helpful for your future fashion design/ stylist career. I believe you are quite fond of street markets since there are many things to see despite having many people.

While you’re here, start walking around the market, take a pencil and notebook to sketch down any objects that look interesting/inspiring (or take photos!).

Meanwhile, pull up your walking playlist, listen to the upbeat music to add to your experience. If you find anything you like, feel free to buy it. Maybe you will even find your favorite food around the area! Sight,

It was super fun working with the experiences you shared with me and putting together this design.

Congratulations!

You've reached the end of your experience. How are you feeling right now?
It took me a while to find these locations in Manhattan because there are better places but were either far or expensive.Overall, hope you enjoyed it and perhaps found something interesting or worth remembering!
Lots of love, Amy Yang
