Multifunctional bullfighting ring + gourmet market + aenological centre
Location: Madrid, Spain.
In a centric area of Madrid, which is badly damaged by the abandonment of an old metro garage, the project intends to reclaim the space for the city.
The first strategy is programmatic and listens to the neighbours needs. The project proposes a multifunctional building combining fine cuisine, wine and culture.
It involves the regeneration of urban space by creating new connections between adjacent streets and squares, developing different types of spaces (from sport and children’s play areas, to relaxation areas, and bars and restaurants ...). A drop of nearly 8 meters will be one of the wires of the project.
