After the video has been shot, it is up to the editor to import the footage for arrangement using video editing software. Graphic Traffic Art Director/Designer: A graphic designer produces visual solutions to creative problems. Designers need imagination and an awareness of current visual trends. The Art Director/ Designer guides the development of an idea into a creative product through the phases of research, keywording, concept development, production and critique. Copywriter: Copywriters write the captions, headlines, slogans and general text for print designs. For radio and television commercials and public service announcements (PSA's), copywriters write the actors' scripts. They may also manage the actual production of the advertisement. Copywriter work very closely with the visual side of the design team to develop a unified concept. Responsibilities: • working closely with the Designer during the research and key-wording phase • writing several possible slogans and general text options • pointing out areas of emphasis to the designer • working with the Photographer, Photo Researcher and/or Illustrator to make sure visuals stay connected to the message in the design A Photographer will work from the sketches provided by the Designer to set up a photo-shoot. Models and props will be collected to complete the desired concept. The photographer will take as many different images as possible to provide layout options.
