What would the June bank holiday be without the rock and rumble of Ireland BikeFest! Welcome everyone to our 2023 festival. We’ve put together a stellar programme of entertainment, events, experiences, and family fun for you to enjoy and we expect this, our 15th festival, to be our biggest yet.

This handy back-pocket booklet contains all the information you need including details on the Ride-outs along the Wild Atlantic Way, the Sunday Parade, the live entertainment schedule, and a map of the Bike Village. It also lists many local businesses supporting Ireland BikeFest - please support them if you can.

Check in with the BikeFest team for info on activities, entertainment, restaurants and bars onsite, for late breaking news and to confirm timings of scheduled events. Located in the Bike Village our team will be on hand to assist with all aspects of this year’s event as well as local information, tourist attractions and touring the Wild Atlantic Way.

GENERAL INFORMATION

General Information

Please wear a helmet at all times when riding your bike – this is the law!

Please do not drink and ride. Avail of The Gleneagle Hotel Shuttle Bus or taxis.

There is an ATM located in The Gleneagle Hotel at the Shop.

Remember, Ireland has a NO SMOKING LAW in all public enclosed areas.

Check with Ireland BikeFest Information for the latest updated information, First Aid and for ‘Lost & Found’.

Photographers and film crews will be operating throughout the event. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify an event team member.

In case of emergency, contact any of the easily identified event team members for help.

Every effort is made to keep to the published schedule. However, due to circumstances beyond the organisers control schedules and events can change. Please check with the BikeFest information tent for the very latest information on all events in the Event Programme.

Attention all Ireland Bike Fest attendees

We would like to remind everyone that only food and beverages purchased on site may be consumed during the festival. Bringing your own food or beverages is not allowed.

We understand that some attendees may wish to bring their own food and drinks, but we kindly ask that you respect this policy. This helps to support our vendors who have invested their time and resources into providing a great selection of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

We have a fantastic range of food and drinks available on site, including a variety of cuisines and beverages to suit all tastes and ages. So why not treat yourself and support the vendors and bars who have worked hard to make this event possible?

Make your dreams come true with Harley-Davidson® at BikeFest! H-D has a full fleet of demo bikes for you to try out as they bring the thunder to Killarney! Try the all-new Nightster™ 975, the ground-breaking Sportster® S, Pan America™, classic Softails and more.. all of which offer a whole new riding experience for H-D aficionados as much as they do for riders of other brands. Driving licence and sensible riding gear required (no sandals and shorts please!). Helmets and other riding gear are available if you do not have your own but is subject to availability.

JUMPSTART™ RIDER EXPERIENCE

FRI & SAT 10:00-18:00

If you’ve never jumped on a Harley® before but can’t wait to experience the thrill, you’re in luck – and you don’t even need a motorcycle licence! Jumpstart™ is an innovative demo tool that safely puts you in the saddle of a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle. The Harley-Davidson® motorcycle is fitted to the Jumpstart™ where the rear wheel rolls freely as the rider engages the bike. To ride the Jumpstart™ long trousers and sturdy footwear are required.

TECHNICAL AREA

DAILY 10:00 - 16:00

The Tech Tent, hosted by Waterford Harley-Davidson®, is located next to the Bike Village. The team here will offer full-service facilities. They will also have diagnostic equipment for all Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. So, if you need something sorted on your steed, this is the time, and place, to do it!

The Ring of Kerry is a 179-kilometre-long circular tourist route in County Kerry, south-western Ireland. Departs 10:00 (6 hrs approx)

Slea Head is a promontory in the westernmost part of the Dingle Peninsula and arguably is the most western point of Europe. Departs 11:00 (5.5 hrs approx)

Attendees of this event are voluntarily participating in the event and do so entirely at their own risk.

The organisers of Ireland BikeFest Killarney, to include the employees, officers or directors of either Destination Killarney Limited t/a Ireland BikeFest Killarney and Gleneagle Hotel (Killarney) Limited will not accept any liability for any damage to property or personal injury (including death) arising from participation in this event.

Ireland BikeFest or persons acting on its behalf may take photographs of or film participants and motorcycles at this event for use in Ireland BikeFest related promotional materials. Consent, if given, is free of charge to such photography/filming being taken and used in this manner.
