Reeling In A Big One!

Kanturk man Michael Twohig proudly wore the Irish Green Jacket on the podium where brought home the Silver Medal at the World Masters Fly Fishing Championships in Italy. Michael came in second place just behind the USA’s Bret Bishop. This was a step higher up the podium, for Michael who previously won Bronze at the 2019 Championships in South Africa. Michael is a well known business man and is owner of Twohigs Supervalu in Kanturk, Askeaton and Abbeyfeale. Many of the Kanturk businesses and local community groups took to Social Media to congratulate Michael on his outstanding achievement.
