Pipe Band Fundraiser
Millstreet Pipe Band have set up a fundraiser via a gofundme page. The band was formed in 1951 and it was their 70th Anniversary in 2021. 2021 was also a momentous year for the pipe band - They got new uniforms and band equipment. They received substantial funding for this endeavour from IRD Duhallow which was greatly appreciated. However this was 64% of the total cost so there was a shortfall between funding received &andthe total cost to the band. To help defray this 36% shortfall plus the lack of Church Gate Collections for two years due to Covid, they are asking the public for donations, large or small, to their gofundme page: https://tinyurl.com/Millstreetpipeband Alternatively donations may also be given to Marie Twomey, Theresa Cleary, Gillian McCarthy or any Millstreet Pipe Band Member.
