Duhallow Community Laundry Celebrates 10 Years In Operation

Duhallow Community Laundry is just one of our social enterprises focused on supporting independent living across our aging population;

• Duhallow Revamp is a demand deficient furniture recycling and reuse service providing affordable furniture and household items to disadvantaged individuals, as well as recycled paint at affordable prices

• Warmer Homes operates a number of home incentive measures to reduce fuel poverty and make homes more energy efficient.

Together these three enterprises help to support those most disadvantaged in Duhallow and provide important supports for people who wish to live independently and improve their quality of life.

The success and the longevity of this service is due to the stewardship of the Social Economy Working Group and its Chairperson Mary Wallace as well as IRD Duhallow’s Board of Directors and its Chairperson Michael Twohig.

We have a great team who are committed to delivering a quality service with an emphasis on customer care and interaction as we realise we may be our customers only point of contact that day.

They will be delighted to receive your call @ 029 60633 if you would like further information about the service.
