Shrone N.S. Predicts Future Glory

Rathmore’s St. Patrick’s Day parade kicked off the weekend before St. Patrick’s Day, making Rathmore one of the first towns in Duhallow to celebrate. The Grand Marshal was Danielle O’Leary Kerry Ladies footballer. Pupils from Shrone NS participated in the parade, creating a float with the ambitious theme “Kerry All-Ireland Hurling Champions 2038?”. The float proudly boasts that Kerry will win the Liam MacCarthy Cup. The pupils put a lot of effort into their float, a wonderful display of local pride and the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. Thank you to everyone who helped out on the day.
