As Busy as a Bee at Dromagh National School since Spring arrived!
We were invited to Coláiste Treasa, Kanturk to see their play, The Wizard of Oz. Many thanks to the secondary school for the invitation. Our students got to meet some of our past students at the play. Maith sibh na scoláirí agus an scoil ar fheidhmíocht chomh sármhaith seo.
Our school took part in the Kanturk Credit Union 2025 on the 7th February. We had two senior teams and one junior team. Senior team one were Molly Cotter, Lara Forde, Sarah Withers and Ben Duggan and team two were Eoghan Philpott, Caolan O’Leary, Jack Withers and Eoin Golden. The junior team were Tara Lucey, Cody Duggan and Paul Golden. Maith sibh na buachaillí agus na cailíní.
On Shove Tuesday, we made our own pancake. It is true, they are much more tasty than buying them in the shop! Hence, our pupils made their own this year! Weighing the ingredients, following the recipe and adding the toppings themselves was much more fun. Blasta agus líonadh bolg.
World Book Day, the pupils dressed as their favourite book character for a fun day of book related activities.
Our 2nd Class pupils received the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Tuesday, 11th March in school by Fr. Tarrant. Special thanks to Mrs. Edel Sheehan for continuing to prepare the pupils for their Holy Communion sacrament on May 17th. Fr. Tarrant and Mr. McAuliffe have being working with our 5th and 6th class pupils in relation to preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation on April 9th.
Guímid Lá Fhéile Pádraig an-sásta agus an-taitneamhach oraibh go léir
