Veteran actor of South films and former Union Minister U.V. Krishnam Raju passed away on Sunday. He has been called Rebel Star in Telugu cinema. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the nineties. He was the Minister of State for External Affairs in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government.

His last rites will be held in Hyderabad on Monday afternoon. 83-year-old Krishnam Raju breathed his last at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad on Sunday.
