Introduction to Statistical Computing with R – NEW! R is a programming language and a free software environment for statistical computing and graphics. The R language is widely used in data science and statistics, machine learning, and data analytics.

This course will introduce professionals to the R programming language and environment. You’ll be introduced to R data structures, built-in data manipulation, statistics and probability functions, and several basic programming constructs. You’ll also learn how to import data, install external packages, and how to produce high-quality graphics.

Personal Trainer Certification Whether for a career move or for personal knowledge, gain all the information you need to become a Certified Personal Trainer. This personal trainer course is a great way to prepare to become a nationally certified personal trainer.

This challenging hybrid course consists of 15 hours of online lectures on key topics including biomechanics, exercise physiology, fitness testing, equipment usage and health assessment. It also includes 15 hours of hands-on practical training labs with role playing drills on assessing clients, programming, performing proper exercises, presentation skills, and more. Lectures will be online and practicals will be held at a local area fitness facility.

Parking — You do not need a permit to park in any student parking area on the Purdue Fort Wayne campus. However, “A” lots (green lines) are open parking after 5 p.m. and on weekends.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) — A CEU is a nationally recognized measurement of professional development training and continuing education in specialty areas. Typically, 10 instructional contact hours are required for one (1.0) CEU, where a contact hour is 50 minutes of instruction.

CEUs do not apply to college degree requirements.
