Fall 2023 E-Newsletter

Message from the President Brad Pittam, IPEMA President Feeling good about the work you do and knowing that it makes a difference is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling aspects of any job. Our recent webinar hosted by Dr. Stuart Brown and Tom Norquist from the National Institute for Play underscored what an amazing industry we work for. We should all feel good about that! When you are caught up in day-today meetings, deadlines, and putting out fires, try to remind yourself and encourage others that the work you do not only positively impacts the lives of the children playing but also benefits the communities surrounding playgrounds. Play is a fundamental part of human nature and contributes to physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being. So, stand proud. Our work makes a difference! Do they know the important role they play, and do they feel good about it? When employees recognize the value of their work, companies thrive.
