ULTRASONIC CLEANING TECHNOLOGY
KKS Ultraschall AG
Solutions for efficient ultrasonic cleaning KKS Ultraschall AG develops, produces and markets technologically leading solutions in the fields of industrial cleaning, ultrasonic technology and surface refinement. Before and after each surface treatment is carried out, cleaning is required. Ultrasonic cleaning has long been established
as a reliable fine cleaning process for this purpose. The tabletop models of the KKS T series are the ideal solution for professional cleaning of a limited amount of smaller workpieces. Ultrasonic cleaning is a thorough, yet gentleprovided optimal parameters are ensured-procedure for cleaning
sensitive surfaces down to the pores. The machines of this series achieve highest levels of cleanliness at relatively short cleaning durations, even for components with complex shapes and delicate components with textured, porous surfaces as well as extremely small grooves and bores. ‹

In case cleaning at reduced temperatures is technically feasible, this may be carried out energy-efficiently with the new biostable cleaners at temperatures <40 °C without the formation of disrupting foam or biological infestation. ‹

which performs non-destructive measurements on samples of unlimited size, also on inclined surfaces or even overhead. In stationary instruments, the Liquid Needle can also be used for fully automated analyses on defined sample positions. ‹

CLEANING AGENTS
Chemische Werke Kluthe GmbH
Biostable cleaners for high-pressure applications With the Hakupur A series, Chemische Werke Kluthe has developed a product line which is free of boron, monoethanolamine, and biocides and offers excellent biostability and a lowfoaming surfactant structure.
Due to these properties, the replacement intervals of cleaning baths in intermediate and final cleaning processes can be extended in most cases. Process interruptions are minimized, thus rendering the work processes more efficient.
CLEANLINESS CONTROL
KRÜSS GmbH
Fast wettability analyses for quality control The contact angle as measure of a surface’s wettability is a reliable indicator for cleanliness. With the novel dosing technique Liquid Needle, Krüss has significantly speeded up contact angle measurement to make it available for quality control with high
sample throughput. Two dosing valves are arranged in parallel to produce two drops at the same time for measurements of the surface free energy within one second. The new dosing unit is integrated in the hand-held Mobile Surface Analyzer (MSA),
