evel S.p.A (Società Europea Veicoli Leggeri - Société Européenne de Véhicules Légers) is a company established in 1978 by a joint-venture between Fiat and PSA Group. The cooperation between the Fiat Group and the PSA (Peugeot Citroën) Group is a synthesis of knowhow in the engineering and manufacturing fields posing Sevel at the forefront of the European light commercial vehicle market. Currently, Sevel has two production plants: One in Atessa (CH), called “Sevel Sud”, and one in Valenciennes (France), called “Sevel Nord”. These plants produce commercial vehicles with the brands Fiat, Citroën e Peugeot. The Sevel factory in the Sangro Valley, Italy, is in operation since 1981 and covers an area of over 1,200,000 m2, 344,000 of which are covered. The factory is equipped to perform all phases of the
