Nanto Cleantech Spa – an Italian manufacturer of advanced materials and functional coatings, i.e. the nanotechnology products behind the new generation special paints – and the US investment fund LCV Capital Management LLC – a firm established in 2009, investing in companies listed on Wall Street – have formalised an agreement that will revolutionise an industry sector that is worth 13 billion dollars. Through its subsidiary Peerless Systems Corp, LCV will participate in Nanto’s US newco initiating a process of international expansion aimed at its listing on Wall Street within two years. A financial “head” in America, an industrial “heart” in Italy and a technological “driving force” in Israel, where the research and development activities will be maintained: This will be Nanto’s new structure. “Such an important leap will enable the company to confront the large global players (such as Sherwin Williams, PPG, Azko Nobel, DuPont and Dow Chemical) with the appropriate tools. ltre 4 milioni di euro di investimenti in ricerca e sviluppo negli ultimi anni, mirati a ottenere brevetti innovativi in 22 Paesi (in particolare in USA, Messico, Giappone, Cina, Russia, Europa, Eurasia, Israele) nel segmento degli additivi ritardanti di fiamma e di vernici intelligenti di nuova generazione, anticorrosivi e materiali innovativi, e altri 60 brevetti in corso di approvazione. E ora un accordo che mette il turbo al processo di sviluppo internazionale. Nanto Cleantech Spa - società italiana produttrice di “advanced material” e “functional coating”, i materiali nanotecnologici alla base delle vernici speciali di nuovissima generazione - e il fondo di investimenti statunitense LCV Capital Management LLC, società fondata nel 2009 che investe in società quotate a Wall Street, hanno formalizzato un accordo finalizzato a rivoluzionare un comparto industriale che vale 13 miliardi di dollari. LCV, attraverso la controllata Peerless Systems Corp, parteciperà la newco statunitense di Nanto dando l’avvio a un percorso di espansione internazionale che prevede entro due anni la quotazione a Wall Street. Testa finanziaria in America, cuore industriale in Italia e motore tecnologico in Israele, dove resteranno le attività di ricerca e sviluppo: si disegna così la nuova struttura di Nanto, «un salto concettuale e dimensionale importante che le permetterà di confrontarsi con strumenti adeguati con i grandi player mondiali (quali Sherwin Williams, PPG, Azko Nobel, DuPont e Dow Chemical) all’interno di un comparto che da qualche anno vive una profonda trasformazione per effetto dell’avvento delle nanotecnologie e di startup altamente innovative, specializzate nei materiali di nuova generazione», fanno sapere in sede.
