MASTER IN COATINGS ENGINEERING Master Universitario in Ingegneria dei Sistemi Vernicianti n July the pre-registration for the 6th edition of the Master in Coatings Engineering will open. First and unique of its kind in Italy, the Master course is held at the Alessandria branch of Politecnico di Torino and has the target to create a professional profile having all the abilities to control, evaluate and handle all the technological aspects related to production, application and innovation in the coatings industry. The issues of environment and sustainability are particularly considered. Contents are designed to transmit to the students competence and skills which are required by the industry and marketplace but not normally provided by the classical academic curricula. The Master course lasts about one year for 60 credits with lessons, seminars, company visits and stage. The Master is supported both financially and organizationally by the Consortium Procoat (www.procoat.it) which, through its industrial members, can offer to the students scholarships and training on the job of high skill-building value.

Primo ed unico nel suo genere in Italia, il Master tiene i suoi corsi presso la sede Alessandrina del Politecnico di Torino, ed ha come obiettivo la creazione di una figura professionale che possegga le capacità tecniche e gestionali necessarie per controllare, valutare ed intervenire te su tutti gli aspetti tecnologici connessi con la produzione, ll’applicazione e l’innovazione nel settore industriale dei Prodotti Vernicianti, tenendo in debito conto le problematiche legate all’amV b biente e allo sviluppo sostenibile. I contenuti sono progettati con lo sc scopo di far acquisire agli allievi competenze e professionalità richieste d a dall’industria e dal mercato che non trovano riscontro nella formazione accademica classica. Il Master dura circa un anno per complessivi 60 crediti con lezioni, seminari, visite in aziende e stage. Il Master è supportato sia finanziariamente che organizzativamente dal Consorzio PROCOAT (www.procoat.it) che attraverso le aziende socie di settore può offrire agli studenti borse studio e percorsi di stage altamente professionalizzanti.
