n May 14th Verind, a long-established Italian company specializing in industrial painting technologies and today part of the German Dürr Group, opened the doors of its headquarters in Rodano, Milan (Italy), for an exclusive open house to introduce its new range of industrial products. In over half a century of operations, Verind played a key role in the evolution of technologies and automation that deeply changed industrial production processes. Today, Verind is an international company and it is well-established in specialized fields like industrial painting, surface protection and ultra-filtration. Its strong R&D potential combined with the expertise derived from the ongoing cooperation with leading companies in each single field of specialization, make of VERIND the preferred and renowned partner and supplier of companies in different fields and with different sizes which all share an 1 interest for eco technologies. The May event, which has been specifically titled “Verind introduces Verind” to underline the importance of welcoming the guests in its own house, by opening the doors of the entire company, including labs and workshops, was an important opportunity of in-depth technological analysis: a guided tour through Verind New Technologies. Matteo Minelli, C.O.O., Verind, explains the aim of the event: “The purpose of the event is to create a moment of meeting with our 2 visitors by presenting the stations with the new products in the location where we usually carry out the production activity. We decided to open our doors to give the visitors also the opportunity to know us not only for our coating activities but also for the engineering plant solutions that we have been developing for years, such as those relating to the ultrafiltration 3 membranes technologies, the new electrodialysis cells ediVer and plants for the treatment of primary and process waters. The new range of industrial products allows our Group to be the only one in the world able to offer a complete coating range, from the powders centre with pneumatic and electric pumps and various accessories, to the automatic application by means of a robot equipped with automatic guns and rotary atomisers. With this full range we no longer have the need to integrate different 102

o scorso 14 maggio Verind, storica azienda italiana per le tecnologie di verniciatura industriale e oggi parte del gruppo tedesco Dürr, ha aperto le porte della propria sede di Rodano, Milano per un’esclusiva giornata di presentazione della nuova gamma di prodotti dedicati all’industria. In oltre mezzo secolo di attività, Verind ha contribuito all’evoluzione delle tecnologie e dell’automazione che hanno profondamente cambiato i processi produttivi. Oggi Verind è una società internazionale affermata in settori specializzati come la verniciatura industriale, la protezione delle superfici e l’ultrafiltrazione. Matteo Minelli, C.O.O., Verind, illustra così lo scopo dell’evento: “Lo scopo della giornata è quello di creare un momento d’incontro piacevole con i nostri visitatori presentando le stazioni con i nuovi prodotti nel luogo dove abitualmente svolgiamo l’attività di produzione. Abbiamo deciso di aprire le porte per dare inoltre l’opportunità ai visitatori di conoscerci non solo per la verniciatura ma anche per altre soluzioni impiantistiche che sviluppiamo da anni, quali quelle relative alle tecnologie delle membrane di ultrafiltrazione, le nuove celle di elettrodialisi ediVer, nonché impianti per il trattamento delle acque primarie e di processo. La nuova gamma di prodotti industriali consente al nostro Gruppo di essere l’unico al mondo a poter offrire una linea completa di verniciatura, dalla centrale vernici con pompe pneumatiche ed elettriche oltre i vari accessori, all’applicazione automatica tramite robot con pistole e polverizzatori rotanti.
