What’s happening...
Design and consultation to be undertaken from late 2018 through to early 2019.
The Isle of Wight Council is developing an ambitious set of proposals to expand the successful Ryde Business Park. Our aspiration is to create a new community focused workplace for Ryde - incorporating civic services and access to shared green space - enabling businesses to thrive through meaningful interaction with the local community and wider rural context.

Quarry Rd Allotments
To generate local community benefits including access to social services and public space.
The extension of the business park will enhance the quality and variety of green amenity arranged along the railway line and footpaths.
To provide flexible work space to meet the needs of start-ups and established businesses.

The community hub is positioned to become a new civic centre for the south of Ryde, linking the communities on either side of the railway.
The Ark Park
Construction Council undertakes construction of the infrastructure and landscaping, subject to planning conditions.

Swanmore Meadows
To achieve sustainable growth through phased delivery of the masterplan.
Delivery of building plots is phased to meet demand, subject to submission of reserved matters applications.
THE SITE ROSEMARY VINEYARD DEVELOPMENT
To create local employment opportunities with space for new and growing businesses.
Meanwhile uses provide access to public amenity while individual plots are developed.
To provide a mixeduse destination offering both employment and community uses.
PENNYFEATHERS DEVELOPMENT
To make the most of the site’s natural assets to deliver an eco-friendly development. To generate increased revenue for the council in the long term.
Smallbrook Stadium
Our masterplan takes into consideration the wider developments planned for South Ryde.
Site opens to the public with an enhanced landscape and access to public services.
To develop a sustainable transport plan integrating pedestrians, cycles and car parking.
