Bob is married to Melanie and they have four children, Noah, 17, Alayna, 14, Emma, 14 and Maddox, 12. Daniel Schowengerdt participates as City attorney for Iola and is involved in civil litigation, criminal law, estate planning and general practice. Daniel is married to Nicole and they have two children, Noah, 9 and Bella, 7. Brandon Bieker joined the firm in January 2014. Brandon has a general practice and is also involved in oil & gas, civil litigation, and criminal defense. Kim Morrison, paralegal, has more than 20 years’ experience working in that capacity. Kim is well versed in all areas of the practice. Kim is married to Jess and they have two children, Chase, 31 and Cole, 21. Edye Newkirk, administrative assistant, has been with the law office for four years and is involved in document preparation, data entry and correspondence. Edye is married to Eric and they have three children, Laura, 12, Layla, 9 and Dominik, 7. Sharla Miller, paralegal worked in corporate litigation in Kansas City, Missouri before returning to Iola with her husband, Tom to raise their three children, Paige, 20, Matt, 16 and Jenna, 13. Lisa Carter, legal assistant, relocated to Iola in August 2016 to be near her family and joined the law office in October. Lisa has worked as a legal assistant for 7 years.
