In the list that follows, a “P” after a name indicates a purple ribbon won; “B” a blue ribbon; “R” a red ribbon; and “W” a white ribbon.

Other listings are “CC,” which is class champion; “RC,” re-

serve class champion; “RG,” reserve grand champion; “RBC,” reserve breed champion; “GC,” grand champion; “S,” supreme; and “RS,” reserve supreme. The number of ribbons or championships won follows, separated by category.

The annual Allen County Fair pedal pull, sponsored July 30 by Allen County Farm Bureau Association, drew 90 participants, with 18 of them — first and second in each age group — qualifying for the state fair.

First place winners were given gift certificates to shop at the Allen County Farmers Market, while those finishing second got gift cards to Dairy Queen. Lynn Sterling, Farm Bureau president, made the presentations.

Each participant received a large milk provided by Strickler Dairy Farm and Midwest Dairy Farmers, presented by Harry, Kathy and Tyler Clubine.

Helping with the event were Gale Ritter, its sponsor, and Donna Carpenter, announcer, Paul Meiwes, Michael Bern-

tsen, Steve Carpenter and Mary Ann Ritter.
