The artist likes to portrait them in snapshots on other planets, showing their personality in a deep gaze, conceding at the same time a glimpse to a background of space stations and alien architectures. Manzieri has always been very fascinated with the concept of Beauty. It’s something abstract that we are able to recognize in people, or in objects created by people, or in a sunset, or in pictures arriving from the Hubble telescope‌ In women beauty is the result of genetic selection, yet the correct assemblage of the lines in their face features changes the degree of perception and appreciation of their gift. This process one day will be artificial and easily available as a disposable virtual avatar. Scientists and artists will be able to engineer beauty.
