The customisable platform for video appointments
Connect with your service users using video from any device with SQOD.
SQOD is a fully customisable video consultation and waiting area platform, that has been designed to seamlessly integrate with your website and applications, and which hosts an array of features allowing you to manage your virtual appointments in line with your operation workflows.
Use SQOD for scheduled appointments, or use the flexibility of waiting areas; SQOD puts you in full control of your video consultations.
Change the brand, colours, call options & functionality to deliver the best possible experience to your service users
Service users receive a link to join their appointment and can instantly join with ease
SQOD is extremely secure and delivers full GDPR compliance
SQOD has been developed with customisation at its heart, allowing a range of benefits to be realised from organisations and service users alike.
Organisations have the ability to tailor SQOD to their specific need, workflows or processes. This means they can adapt the software to fit unique requirements rather than having to manage with a one-size-fits-all solution. Agents can personalise their experience based on their preferences, leading to better service user engagement and satisfaction.
We can create a bespoke platform in your branding, including: logo, background, font, and colour palette
Tailor your waiting area to suit your processes, and craft the user experience from the invitation to post-consultation
Alter the functionality of calls made using SQOD, including the toggle on/off of live call screen buttons screen sharing, messaging, group consultations and breakout rooms
SQOD’s waiting areas are designed to simulate face-to-face appointments, however the virtual setting delivers more rapid access to services, whilst reducing the stress, anxiety, climate impact, and costs that can be caused by the need to travel.
Create as many waiting areas as you’d like, to mirror existing departments within your organisation. Use these waiting areas to hold drop-in clinics as well as acting as a waiting or reception room for appointments shared for a specific date and time.
Fully customise your waiting areas by choosing the room names, the URL, the message displayed, and use media content such as relevant interactive videos or music to enhance the experience. Tailor the post-consultation journey by sending users to a website page, survey or relevant information. A third party guest can also be invited, with anonymous participants if required.
Use SQOD as a drop-in clinic by having users access a waiting area via your website, and wait to be seen by an advisor
Service users join the waiting area and will be admitted into their consultation once the advisor is ready
Tailor the waiting areas to suit your organisation’s processes and improve the user experience
Hold scheduled appointments with service users and use the schedule tab to view and manage your scheduled appointments in SQOD.
Schedule a call at a fixed time, date and duration and if required, customise the features of the call, including screensharing, breakout rooms, messaging, and whether an interpreter is needed for the call.
Service users can be sent details of their appointment directly from SQOD, and staff can send email or SMS reminders about their appointment to reduce Did Not Attend rates.
The appointment link can be sent via email and SMS and is a one-time only secure link
When scheduling an appointment, there’s an option to invite an interpreter to the call through SQOD- either your own or one of our in-house team of interpreters
SQOD gives you full control of your scheduled appointments, with admin and scheduler users able to manage the schedules for staff

After becoming unitary council in 2023, serving a population of around 571,600 people, the council decided it needed a video appointment platform to enable customers to virtualise their face-to-face services.
The main requirements for the council were a user-friendly platform, the ability to run reports to help the council understand usage and a feature that would send staff notifications when people were accessing the waiting area.
The council describe the reasons as to why they decided to use SQOD: “It was the best solution for the council's plan, at the right cost. We could not find another provider that met the criteria to enable us to expand our virtual assistance link offer.”
When asked to describe the experience of using SQOD, Somerset Council said: “It is an intuitive system that is easy to train staff on. It doesn't create the additional pressure of learning another system.”
“Our staff and customers enjoy using SQOD as it is very easy to use. It meets our requirements by enabling us to make aesthetic changes to suit our branding, run reports with ease and it is secure. We have a great working relationship with the SQOD team and would recommend the platform to other organisations.”
