Approved by the IHSS Board of Directors 25 October 2022 ANNUAL REPORT THE INVICTUS HIGH SCHOOL SYSTEM 2021/2022

Ifrequentlyspeaktothelessonswehavelearnedfromthelastfewyearsofoperationinapandemic. Our community has continued to exhibit remarkable flexibility and adaptability in the face of unprecedented circumstances. The resilience of our graduates, students, staff, and families despite countless changes to our operation is inspiring and calls our school system to continue to rise to the challenge,togrow,andtoresistdefeat.Ourcommunityistrulyundefeated.

In many ways, I believe the challenges that we have overcome continue to push our school toward excellence. Some changes resulting from the pandemic have remained in place as innovative new programming, flexibility in sessions, and the addition of an extensions program providing night and summerschoolforourstudentbodyastheymanageabalancebetweentheiracademicandpersonal lives.

IthankyouforyourcontinuedsupportandIknowthatthroughourcombinedeffortstheschoolwill continuetoliveuptoitsreputation-HomeoftheUndefeated.

We Provide Our Students With the Tools to Succeed

IHSS strives to provide the support students need to achieve all of their goals, beginning with their graduation destination.

Our post-secondary specialists work with students to encourage future ambitions toward higher education and their career choices through our academies model, centered around the student's growth toward the career they hope to enter after high school.

Career-Based Interventions

In alignment with the school's focus on post-secondary success and job readiness, our Career-Based Intervention (CBI) program has awarded over 300 credits to nearly as many students in the 2021/2022 academic year for their employment.

The IHSS CBI program broke a record in the 20/21 academic year for being the first charter school in Ohio to track over a million dollars in student earnings and boasts almost one and a half million dollars in student earnings this academic year at an average student wage of $13.27 an hour.
