BORDEAUX, PATRIMOINE MONDIAL DE L’UNESCO

Bordeaux et son agglomération représentent un potentiel de consommation de plus de 4 milliards d’euros.

L’implantation du tramway s’est accompagnée du réaménagement urbain de la ville et des rives du fleuve. Le centre historique, avec son architecture unique, a retrouvé sa vocation piétonnière, l’heure est aux terrasses et à la flânerie dans les rues. Les quais, entièrement rénovés, offrent une promenade de 5 km ponctuée d’espaces à thèmes : le parc des sports, le jardin des lumières, le miroir d’eau, le skate parc.

Ce chiffre, en constante augmentation, en fait un territoire particulièrement favorable au développement de l’activité commerciale.

Plus de 90% des habitants de la Gironde viennent au moins une fois par an à Bordeaux, plus de 60% au moins une fois par mois.

Une attractivité liée en grande partie à son commerce. Plus de la moitié des habitants résidant à deux heures viennent à Bordeaux pour effectuer des achats et près des 2/3 pour l’ensemble du département.

AN ATTRACTIVE METROPOLIS Bordeaux and the surrounding conurbation represent a consumer potential of over 4 billion euros. Constant growth makes this a particularly propitious area for business development. Over 90% of the Gironde’s inhabitants come to Bordeaux at least once a year and over 60% at least once a month.. Its main attraction is as a commercial hub. Over half the people living within two hours’ drive and nearly 2/3 of the Gironde department’s population come to Bordeaux to shop.

DES PROJETS D’AVENIR À L’ÉCHELLE DE LA MÉTROPOLE Le prolongement des lignes du tramway et l’objectif de produire 7 500 logements par an invitent à réconcilier grand commerce et urbanité. Les 9 Zones d’Aménagement Commercial font ainsi l’objet de projets de requalification et de densification qui favorisent l’émergence de nouvelles formes de commerce sur ces territoires en devenir.

The extension of the tram lines and the goal of building 7,500 housing units a year will reconcile mass distribution and urban development.
