At Intrepid Credit Union, we care about providing our employees with opportunities to grow and avenues to reach their individualized goals.
Our career development path is communicated early on. We encourage our employees to share their goals and work with their supervisors to hone their skillset and advance their expertise. We offer continuing education reimbursement after two years of employment, which can be used to accomplish the next step on your career ladder at Intrepid Credit Union.
We’ve found great success when promoting from within. Many of our organization’s leaders started their career at an entry level position at our company. We pride ourselves in making career development a priority and offer an in-house training facility to ensure our team has the resources they need to thrive. We look forward to discussing your career interests and providing you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities you need to attain your goals.
Intrepid CARES
Intrepid CARES is an initiative that encompasses Intrepid Credit Union’s charitable giving guidelines. As an institution, we are dedicated to serving our communities and giving back to the people who call Montana, home. We have built our culture to reflect our values in service and encourage volunteering and philanthropy to our employees and members.
FOUR CORE PRINCIPLES
Our four core principles anchor our giving structure to make the most impact within the communities we serve. These guidelines are not all inclusive and Intrepid Credit Union may make exceptions when considering donations.

Human Services
Intrepid Credit Union will distribute at least 25% of our annual giving to non-profit organizations who directly provide service to people in need. These causes feed the hungry, shelter our community members in need, nurture the elderly and young, and address the needs of the disadvantaged, underemployed, or disabled.
Education & Financial Literacy
Intrepid Credit Union is dedicated to supporting education-focused organizations and providing financial literacy to students of all ages.
Community Development & Prosperity
Intrepid Credit Union will distribute at least 25% of our annual giving to communitybased organizations committed to investing in and improving our communities. These community development organizations, projects or programs promote economic growth and stability, enhancing quality of life, provide support to small businesses, or lead housing and revitalization projects.
Employer-sponsored Volunteerism
Intrepid Credit Union will support, in the form of paid hours, an employee pursuing a volunteer opportunity or community service at 20 hours annually.
