Intrepid CARES is an initiative that encompasses Intrepid Credit Union’s charitable giving guidelines. As an institution, we are dedicated to serving our communities and giving back to the people who call Montana, home. We have built our culture to reflect our values in service and encourage volunteering and philanthropy to our employees and members.
Our four core principles anchor our giving structure to make the most impact within the communities we serve. These guidelines are not all inclusive and Intrepid Credit Union may make exceptions when considering donations.

Employer-sponsored Volunteerism
Intrepid Credit Union will distribute at least 25% of our annual giving to non-profit organizations who directly provide service to people in need. These causes feed the hungry, shelter our community members in need, nurture the elderly and young, and address the needs of the disadvantaged, underemployed, or disabled.
Intrepid Credit Union is dedicated to supporting education-focused organizations and providing financial literacy to students of all ages.
Intrepid Credit Union will distribute at least 25% of our annual giving to communitybased organizations committed to investing in and improving our communities. These community development organizations, projects or programs promote economic growth and stability, enhancing quality of life, provide support to small businesses, or lead housing and revitalization projects.
Intrepid Credit Union will support, in the form of paid hours, an employee pursuing a volunteer opportunity or community service at 20 hours annually.
