Trade Ready Program Year 12

HERVEY BAY

MRAEL in conjunction with ATTC is a proud recipient of Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) funding for the Trade Ready Program.

This fully funded program will provide Year 12 students the opportunity to undertake skills training and development in a safe simulated work environment before undertaking a structured workplace learning activity with one of our supporting construction partners.

The Trade Ready Program provides participants with the foundations to enter the building and construction industry with technical training and employability skills.

• Up to 120 hours of structured workplace learning which will provide direct exposure to a variety of construction trades and professions.

What is the CSQ funded Year 12 Trade Ready Program?

Our fully funded Trade Ready Program provides participants the opportunity to undertake skills training and development in a safe, simulated work environment, before undertaking a structured workplace learning activity with one of our supporting construction partners.

The Year 12 Trade Ready Program is designed to transition year 12 students from school into employment within the construction industry.

Our Trade Ready Programs are fully funded by Construction Skills Queensland.

Structured Workplace Learning

Participants will engage in up to 120hrs of structured workplace learning, providing direct exposure to a variety of construction trades and professions.

Eligibility Requirements

• Current Year 12 School Student

• White card or ability to obtain

• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test

• Students require their own laptops.

• Queensland resident with Australian or New Zealand citizenship

• Driver’s licence preferable
