SARAH JOAN K | DIRECTOR & DEVISOR

Sarah Joan K is a final year Drama and Theatre Studies student. Recent directing credits include Antigone (2022) and As It Stands (with Clara Cronin, 2021). Sarah’s acting credits include Knit, Purl, Knit (2022), What We Have, We Hold (2021); Horizons (2020); and Ask Too Much of Me (2019).

DEIRBHILE MYLOD | PRODUCTION MANAGER

Deirbhile is a theatre maker, currently in her second year of studies in English literature and Drama. This is her first time working in the Beckett, though she will be working as assistant stage manager and producer in upcoming pro ductions debuting in this festival season.

MATTHEW MORAN | STAGE MANAGER

Matthew is a theatre-maker/facilitator from Kildare. He is delighted to be Stage Manager of In the Eye of the. He is the current Artistic Di rector of PlayActing Youth Theatre in Kildare. Matthew is studying for his BA in Drama & The atre Studies and has worked on productions in the Samuel Beckett Theatre, The Lyric Theatre Belfast and Pleasance Theatre Trust as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2022.

ALICE HENNESSEY | ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER

Alice is a second year drama and theatre stud ies student and is the assistant stage manager for this production. She has worked on several productions with DU Players in both cast and crew positions including Mothman the Musical (2021) as Mothman and stage manager for Or estes (20220. Alice will also work as set assistant on Cry (2023) in the Samuel Beckett Theatre next semester.

LAURA PENDLEBURY | PRODUCER

aura Pendlebury is currently in her second year of drama and theatre studies. In the Samu el Beckett Theatre, she has previously worked as crew on Ulster American (2022) and as assistant set on Hush Boy Hush (2022).

DANIEL MONTAGUE O’BRIEN | COMPOSER & SOUND DESIGNER

Daniel Montague-O’Brien is a Dublin-based sound designer and music producer. He studied drama in Trinity College, and whilst there com posed music for various productions including ‘NO-GO’, directed by Dan Colley, and ‘Charms’, directed by Doris De Vries. Since leaving college he has designed and operated sound in venues across Dublin, including the Viking Theatre, Project Arts Centre and Smock Alley. His most recent design credits include ‘EELS’ (Samu el Beckett Theatre 2022), ‘Decameron’ (Rough Weekend 2022), and Gift Horse Theatre’s pro duction of ‘Twelfth Night’ (Irish Tour 2021).

EIMEAR HUSSEY | COSTUME DESIGNER

Eimear Hussey is a Dublin-based playwright/ designer and a recent graduate of Drama and Theatre Studies at TCD. Recent design work in cludes stage and costume design for It Is Good We Are Dreaming (The New Theatre, 2022), and costume assistant work for Good Sex (Samuel Beckett Theatre, DTF, 2022) and The Boy Who Never Was (Mermaid Arts Centre, DTF, 2022). She is currently under commission from Youth Theatre Ireland to write for their National Youth Theatre ensemble 2022-2023.

MEGAN FLYNN | ASSOCIATE COSTUME DESIGN AND WARDROBE

Megan Flynn is a fourth year Joint Honours English and Drama Studies student and has worked as a Designer, Producer and Publicist. Megan’s Costume credits include Knit Purl Knit, DU Players shows and she is currently also working on Ignis. Other upcoming shows she is working on are; THIS IS NOT A WORK PLACE and Don’t Lose Your Head.

CAELINN NÍ BHROIN | ASSISTANT COSTUME AND PUPPET DESIGNER

Caelinn Ní Bhroin, is a final year Drama and So ciology student and assistant costume designer of In The Eye of The where she took on the role of puppet maker. This is her first time assisting as costume designer for a show in the Beckett theatre and first time ever working as puppet maker.

KATE FEEHILY | COSTUME ASSISTANT

Kate Feehily is a second year Drama student. She was recently in Hush Boy Hush (2022) on the Beckett and will be stage managing This Is Not A Workplace (2023) next term. She is also assistant producer for Espana no Existe (2022).

CO-LIGHTING DESIGNER

Emer is a recent graduate of English and Dra ma Studies, currently working as an EDI Project Worker and Young Curator with Backstage The atre Longford and Literary Intern with Fisham ble. She was the lighting designer on Hedwig and The Angry Inch (Samuel Beckett Theatre, 2022) and NO GO (Samuel Beckett Theatre, 2020) and designed a number of shows in DU Players in cluding, Loser Like Me (2021) and Metamor phosis (2021), most recently.

CILLIAN O’DONNELL | CO-LIGHTING DESIGNER

Cillian is a third year Astrophysics student and this is his first lighting design in the Samuel Beckett. Cillians lighting training is accredited to the DU Players Introductory Programme. Cillian has designed numerous productions in Players, most notably Clusterfuck, Chatroom

Lucy Holmes is a fourth year Drama and Theatre Studies student and works as a Visual & Graphic Designer, Publicist, Writer and Performer. Lucy’s publicity credits include In the Eye of The, Pan opticon, Hush, Boy Hush and Man.i.fest (Samuel Beckett Theatre) and 10+ shows in DU Players. Lucy is also currently working on her own in stallation theatre piece THIS TOO SHALL PASS which will take place in February 2023.

KEZIAH KEENAN O’SHEA | RO

Keziah Keenan O’Shea is a final year Drama and Theatre Studies student. Her acting cred its include The Plague (Samuel Beckett The atre) which she also performed in Bulgaria at the Danail Chirpansky International Student Theatre Festival 2022. She has also been a part of the cast of Medea, Abagofspiders and The Strangest Kind of Romance (Samuel Beckett Theatre). She has also performed in Mauer 89, Grianstad, Stuck Somewhere New and The In terview (DU Players)

LUAN ROGERS | ANTHONY

Luan Rogers is a fourth-year student of His tory and Political Science. This will be his first time appearing in a debut show. Previously, he appeared in ‘Fitz’ which ran in Players back in September 2019. He has also acted in various short film productions.

DAISY GAMBLES | MIRANDA

Daisy Gambles is a second year Drama and Theatre student. Her recent acting roles in clude Hush Boy Hush, Antigone, Potatoland (Samuel Beckett Theatre), and Let Go (DU Players). Daisy will also be co-producing Ignis and assistant production manager for Don’t Lose Your Head (Samuel Beckett Theatre) next term.

DOUGLAS MORRISON | FERDIA

Doug is a third-year student studying Film and English. He has performed in a number of productions with Crooked House The atre Company, including King Lear and The Merchant of Venice, as well as the four-part devised series The Act of Oblivion. Doug has received training in movement from Frantic Assembly, Taking Flight and various theatre practitioners across Europe.

GRACIE SHEARER | ALANNAH

Last year Gracie wrote and directed her short play “Fishtank” with DU Players. People came and laughed. It was a good day. She has per formed before in the Beckett (4.48 Psychosis, Hush Boy Hush) and many times with DU Players, though the highlight of her time there so far has been her play “A Scene Before the End of All Things” which went up last April. Gracie is also mad good at the violin.

BETH STRAHAN |ARIEL

Beth is a third year Drama and Theatre studies student at Trinity College Dublin. Her previ ous credits within the college include playing the role of Cinderella in Trinity Musical The atre’s (TMT) 2021 virtual ‘Into the Woods’, directing Trinity Hall’s 2022 Musical ‘Legally Blonde’, and she is currently directing TMT’s 2023 production of ‘Sweet Charity’. As a dra ma student who loves music and Shakespeare, she cannot wait to bring the character of Ariel to life in a more contemporary setting.
