Aldo Rossi and Luca Meda have designed a piece of architecture; a large facade featuring regularly spaced windows and inspired by the Regione Umbria headquarter’s facade in Perugia. A bookcase with glass front and wood or lacquered structure and a metal front matt lacquered. Piroscafo is a versatile home cupboard a bookcase for the study, a display cabinet for the living room or a sideboard for the kitchen. FEATURES A series of bookcases either open or with glass doors, with square metal frame, divided in four by an interior cross. The front is matt lacquered in chalk white, platinum or anthracite and is combined with a structure lacquered matt in chalk white or in eucalyptus. The door glass is transparent or etched. The internal shelves are in wood or in extralight glass 12 mm th (1/2”). It is possible to insert one or more led bars. The led bars can be attached to any part of tops, central panels and shelves. Should the bars be mounted onto a wood shelf, it will not be possible to move them at a later stage.
