Things (IoT) is on the cusp of changing all

serious. Forget the hype and those analyst
figures, for these technologies are about to
make your retail business smarter than you
can possibly imagine. Let me explain why.
IoT is the catch-all term used to describe
machine-to-machine (M2M) connectivity,
where sensors and hardware devices
communicate with each other on their
condition and whereabouts. There’s
nothing overly smart about this of course,
but there is when machine-learning and
Artificial Intelligence (AI) combine to take
this data and turn it into something
meaningful for the user, or for the business.
