COMMUNITY UPDATE Issue 2 - 19 September 2025
DIRECTOR’S UPDATE Dear Community, We’ve had a great start to the school year, and it’s wonderful to see our campus in full swing. Over the past few weeks, as students have settled into their classes, it has been great to see so many parents at our various Open Houses and other community events. We have also been busy behind the scenes, and last week our Communications Team launched a brand new website which, I think, captures the essence of our vibrant community and learning programmes even better than before. Beyond a visual upgrade, the new website aims to convey key ideas on what personalisation means to us at ISB, how it is practically implemented from ECC to HS, and how it fits into our Strategy for the Future. If you have not done so already, I invite you all to explore it. The spirit of our community is truly one of the most special things about ISB, and what better way to celebrate it than through our long-standing legacy event: Our Annual Homecoming. As it is the case every year in October, we are expecting around 2000 attendees, composed of ISB families, employees, and alumni from all over the world, to be joining us on campus to cheer on the Raiders sports teams, along with music, food trucks, and other activities. Please bring your family on Friday, 10 October for what promises to be another memorable evening celebrating everything ISB! Finally, as a leading international school, we know that being challenged is not just for students. We need to ensure that we continue to challenge ourselves to improve as a school, and one way we do is through our partners. Today we are proud to be hosting on campus the Directors from our ISST8 peers (Frankfurt International School, Munich International school, The American School in London, American International School Vienna, American School of Paris, American School of The Hague, and Zurich International School), to share best practices between our schools, and to explore more ways in which we can support each other to provide even better learning opportunities for all of our students. Wishing you all a restful weekend!
