DearCommunity,
Inthisissue,we’repleasedtosharesomerecenthighlightsfromourHighSchoolevents BrusselsCollegeNightbroughtdozensofU.S.collegesanduniversitiestoourcampus, attractingfamiliesfromacrosstheregion,whileourHighSchoolOpenHouseofferedISB parentsvaluableinsightsintotheuniquepathwaysavailabletotheirchildren.Itwas greattoseebotheventssowellattended,especiallyasHighSchoolrepresentssuchan importantstageinourstudent’slivesastheystepintoyoungadulthoodandmake choicesfortheirfuturebeyondISB.
NootherschooloffersourcourserangeinMiddleandHighSchool,withover80Middle Schoolcoursesandfivedistinctqualificationpathways:AP,IBDP,BTEC,U.S.HighSchool Diploma,andtheIndividualisedISBDiplomaThisbreadthofchoiceempowersstudents tobuildagencyfromanearlyageanddesignaneducationaljourneythatsuitstheir strengthsandaspirations.SinceISBofferssomuchchoice,planningcanfeelcomplex forfamilies,whichiswhywehaveateamofdedicatedteamcounsellorsacrossthe schooltoguideeachstudentinfindingtheirway It’saprivilegetosupportthisprocess, andinspiringtoseesomanyofyouengagedinit
Lookingahead,oneofthefourpillarsofourstrategicplanisfuture-focusededucation. InadditiontoFrenchbilingualpathwaysstartingasearlyasPreschool,in2024-25,ISBbecame thefirstschoolinBelgiumtoofferhomelanguageclasseswithinstudents’timetables–and thisyeartheHomeLanguageProgrammehasreturnedbiggerandstronger!
In the Lower School, Dutch has been added to Korean, Spanish, Hebrew, Swedish, and Japanese,withclassesnowstartingfromPre-K.Participationhasgrownfrom128studentsin autumn2024to158inautumn2025.
