Lupano, and Riccardo Pini’s Merada Dreamcatcher in second place.

“One-day shows are always long but here in Fanano the organization was great thanks to Marco and Rosanna,” said Munarini. “Another factor is how the cattle hold up since the show is outdoors. That too didn’t turn out to be a problem at all and my horse, who has won quite a bit in the U.S., was quick to adapt. A special thank you goes to my help in the arena: Sheri Mason, Andrea Pagani, Rosana Bembom, and

A point behind he also took second place with Sticky Dual owned by Alessandro Marrapese. “I cannot thank the organizers enough for having organized an impeccable show under every aspect which allowed me to ride to make the winner's circle in the three categories,” he said. “I would also like to thank all those that help me and the owners for trusting me with their horses. Peter Hanraths and Arnicat scored a 71 to win the Jackpot $25.000 Limit Rider in a field of 12 entries. Second place, a point behind, was for Anna Koukal aboard Spoonful of Tears. “Riding in the facility where I board my horses is always wonderful for me,” said Hanraths. “This show as always turned out great and my horse gave me all he had, in particular since we were last to go. I am proud and happy with this result and thank Martina [Annovazzi] and Pietro [Valeri] for their precious help.”

Maurizio Sandei clinched the $50.000 Amateur with a 72 aboard Miss Blue Boons Ruby. Asia Boni followed riding My Final Cut, and Azzurra Avigni and Metallic Di Nero closed in third place. “Smart Iron Rey was born, raised, and trained here at Rosy O’Grady’s and I was fortunate Marco let me show him in the Youth class,” said Sara. ‘I showed him in Cremona, with two great results, and I cannot thank everyone here enough for helping me grow in this sport.”

Winner in the Novice Riders class was Paola Longoni with Pedaltothemedal, followed by Asia Boni riding My Final Cut and Michela Cassinelli with High Brow Chicolena. “I started riding cutters about two years ago and, since cutting chose me, I found myself dealing with a great discipline but not such a simple one,” said Longoni. “I never would have thought that I would compete in a championship but, thanks to my trainer Pietro Gardella and his horse Pedaltothemedal, I was blessed to be able to live this experience. Being able to show here was amazing as this facility reflects all the love the Salvatori family and their team has for this sport.”

It was all about the girls in the NCHA $1.000 Amateur with Alessia Leonardi and Lil Scoot N Pep taking the lead with a 70 score, followed by Annalisa Salomoni riding Onerey and Azzurra Avigni aboard Metallic Di Nero. “I didn’t ride great since I was a little tense, but our score was enough to win,” said Leonardi. “This first class helped us to better in the $2000 Limit rider where we placed third. My horse isn’t a youngster anymore, but he is always good in the pen and reads the cows great.” Closing the day was the NCHA

Fulceri riding Marco Salvatori’s Denvers Purdy placed second half-a-point behind, followed by Alessia Leonardi in third after scoring a 72 with Lil Scoot N Pep owned by Elisa Leonardi. “I wanted to start the show season here because I owe the Salvatori family: Thanks to them I became acquainted with this discipline and today was very emotional for me since my horse was ready to win. A huge thank you to my trainer Denis Pini and to Pietro and Martina. Without them, none of this would be possible.”
