TravelScholarship Questions

Are thereTravel Scholarships available this year?

The IMFhas funding available throughJack's Education & Experience Grant and generous donorsupport tohelp leaders withtheirtravel expenses associated with attending the Summit intheamount of up to $700 per support group.Wedo ask, however, that requests be limited tothose attendees whohave real financial need

What do I need to do to receive aTravel Scholarship?

To receive a scholarship, you must check the appropriate box during the registration process. Once your registrationhasbeen submitted, reviewed andapproved, an IMF teammember will reachout to confirm approval.

We kindly request thatALL leaders, including those that do not request a scholarship, utilize the IMF travel agent to book flights. Thisis to ensure that any cancellations, changes etc that take place can be addressed promptly and without interrupting their participation.

What if my Leader/Co-Leader also requests aTravel Scholarship?

Ifbothleaders fromtheSupport Grouprequest a scholarship, thenthe expenses willbe covered up to $700 per support group to be determined by leaders. Please note only one checkwill be issued per group.

Transportation Questions

Will the IMF be providing ground transportation?

Uponyour arrivalto Minneapolis St Paul Airport (MSP), the IMF will be arranging shuttles onThursday, July 17th tothe OmniViking Lakes hotel.The shuttledeparture times will be confirmedbased on arrival flight times.

For yourdeparture, the IMF will be arranging shuttles on Sunday, July 20th to Minneapolis St. Paul Airport (MSP). The shuttle departure times will be confirmedbased on departure flight times.

Will the IMF cover the cost of transportation not provided?

If youhave requested travel assistance throughtheTravelScholarship and youhave not reached your group's maximum funds, then you will be eligible tosubmit the cost of additional transportation expenses tothe IMF MeetingsTeam.

Please note that a copy of your receipt will be requiredtoreceive reimbursement.This shouldbe sent to meeting§.@mY.eloma.org withthe subjectline - 2025 SOLS (your name) Reimbursement Request -Transportation Expenses Not Provided.

If youchoose not touse the IMF providedshuttle service upon arrival and departure, the IMF will not reimburse your ground transportation.
